Eschborn (Francfort, Allemagne) · I Squared Capital
nLighten is one of the most active consolidators of European regional data centers: created in 2021 by I Squared Capital, the platform built an edge network across half a dozen countries in a few years by acquiring established local players.
The project began in 2021, with a public launch in early 2023 from Eschborn, near Frankfurt: building a pan-European proximity platform through acquisitions. In France the landmark deal was taking over Euclyde Data Centers and its regional sites; further acquisitions followed in the UK, Benelux, Germany and Spain.
Several dozen edge sites across Europe's main markets, deliberately close to secondary economic basins rather than only the hubs. In France the Euclyde heritage brings sites such as Sophia Antipolis or Besançon — cities where neutral supply can be counted on one hand.
Neutral regional colocation, from quarter rack to room, with a strong story on energy efficiency and waste-heat reuse. The promise: the standards of a European group, delivered at mid-size-city scale.
In mid-size cities where nLighten took over the local player, the brand is often the default neutral option — compare it against UltraEdge and Etix sites in the same areas. Post-acquisition integrations take time: judge each site on its own certifications and connectivity.

DataColoc lists 36 sites operated by nLighten, including 10 in France, comparable on an identical basis (all-in price, connectivity, certifications).
Open the target site's listing above, compare the all-in monthly cost, then send a structured quote request from the listing: it goes directly to the operator.
nLighten brings together activities formerly known as: Euclyde Data Centers. Sites usually keep their address and teams; only the brand changed.
